Body Evolution - Model transformed with photoshop
People may rail against the transformations for advertising, editorial or other avenues but let me tell you working on many of the international magazine titles for over 17 years I have witnessed so many trials of what would be called 'real photography' and no one BUT NO ONE wants to look at it. We all like the dream. That is what we buy. The people that buy this want the escape. They don't want to look at themselves or their friends' bodies they want to dream what could be in the perfect world. If you don't like these images then don't look and no one compels anyone to buy it. Yes it is an impossible role model and not a good one if your child has an eating disorder etc. But so is the constant need for money which has been taken up by the masses like a drug. We are a money-obsessed society. So if some of us like to look at really ramped up perfection, live with it. That is what the majority wants. Just like everyone wants to live with freedom.

Cool window display
You can't see that these images are cut-out letters but they look fantastic in a shop window for iPad iPhone accessories.

Website Design....
Really have dilemmas about designing websites. While I like the clean look of the lower option I don't think it provides the reader with the flavour of the owner of this boutique. She is just such a gorgeous person and so capable. You really feel so happy to be in her presence and it is part of the magic of going into her boutique. You also feel confident in her options for you. The bottom one may look more professional, but I say that word with a sort of accent like Rowan Atkinson. I think a website needs to make you feel like you are really connecting to the essence of what it is you are wanting.

Are you tuned in to the emotions of others? Or have you been accused of being insensitive?
If you are among those people who are mystified by moods, new research offers hope. A new study shows that certain types of reading can actually help us improve our sensitivity IQ. To find out how well you read the emotions of others, take the Well quiz, which is based on an assessment tool developed by University of Cambridge professor Simon Baron-Cohen.
